Roberto "Bobby Bunches" Ramos
Co-Founder, Master Barber, & The Heart of RMB October 11, 1959 – February 13, 2026
At R.M.B. Shave Parlor, we believe that mastery is a lifelong pursuit of both craft and character. No one embodied that standard more than our co-founder, Roberto “Bobby Bunches” Ramos. He wasn’t just a master of his craft; he was the grit, the warmth, and the ultimate catalyst behind why we exist today.
Arriving in the United States in 1976 with nothing but a backpack and an unstoppable work ethic, Roberto spent decades doing whatever it took to provide for his family—working as a factory hand, a landscaper, and a security officer. In 2014, following a career-changing injury, he chose to completely resculpt his own life. He became a Licensed Barber, and alongside his son, Michael, opened R.M.B. Shave Parlor in 2015.
To Roberto, a fresh haircut or a sharp beard sculpture was never just a transaction; it was a vehicle for genuine human connection. Behind the chair, he poured his soul into four distinct groups:
- To His Family: He was a fiercely protective father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who broke generational cycles by constantly showering his family with tight hugs, deep affection, and his signature “Gimme ” sign for love.
- To Our Barbers: He was the ultimate blueprint of resilience, proving that it is never too late to reinvent yourself, master a new skill, and take immense pride in your trade.
- To Every Client: Whether it was a first-time guest or a regular who had sat in his chair for a decade, Roberto brought a legendary sense of humor, effortless charisma, and a rare ability to make people feel seen, valued, and at home.
Though he passed away in February 2026, his presence is woven into the very fabric of our shop. We continue to pick up our clippers every day to honor his craft, uphold his standards, and live out his favorite daily reminder:
“Smile, it’s free. Enjoy your family and enjoy your life.”

First time and I picked Robert to cut my hair. He is a seasoned barber for sure. His hospitality, conversation, the hair wash and hot towel and the diagnostic process to understand your hair and style are amazing. He gave a precise cut as I requested and fits my style with attention to details are beyond what I have experienced from all barbers I have visited in 39 years. This will be my go to spot for a good hair cut.Posted on Google Whitney WingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My boyfriend is very picky about his beard. I probably spent 2-3 days going through local reviews to try and find a good barber place for him to get it trimmed up. For the holidays I'm super impressed with not only the service but the hospitality that everyone in R.M.B. Shave Parlor showed while we where their.
